On July 12 2010, a farewell tea-out was arranged for the outgoing Deputy Director Coordination, Muhammad Laiq Yousaf Zai and Staff Officer and ex Deputy Chairman, Major Sheraz Lateef. Deputy Chairman ERRA, Lt Gen Muhammad Haroon Aslam, was Chief Guest on the occasion. Besides Chief of Staff ERRA, Brig Masuood Ahmed, several senior officials including Director Generals, Advisors, Directors and Deputy Directors graced the farewell gathering with their presence.

Deputy Chairman ERRA, Lt Gen Muhammad Haroon Aslam, lauded Mr. Muhammad Laiq Yousaf Zai for the valuable contribution he made during his four and a half years at ERRA. His commitment and diligence received recognition in the form of a prolonged term of employment at ERRA. Referring to Major Sheraz Lateef’s pivotal position as Staff Officer, the Deputy Chairman commended him for his ability to work in harmony with his colleagues, both junior and senior staff officers. Much to the satisfaction of the ex Deputy Chairman, Major Sheraz Lateef acquitted himself with honour during his two year tenure, while simultaneously impressing his peers with his staff skills.

As a token of appreciation for their services, the Deputy Chairman presented the outgoing officers with ERRA shields. Towards the end, while thanking their colleagues, Muhammad Laiq Yousaf Zai and Major Sheraz Lateef said that they will always cherish their time at ERRA and that they are grateful for the cooperation of their colleagues, without which they wouldn’t have possibly been able to make valuable contribution. They added that the knowledge and experience that they have accumulated while serving at ERRA, will prove a valuable asset in their future undertakings and assignments.
