In the true spirit of a hands-on, leadership approach, Chairman ERRA, Altaf Muhammad Saleem planted a tree at the ERRA Headquarters today. Having taken place after four truck loads of relief goods were dispatched for the flood affectees, the tree plantation ceremony symbolized ERRA’s resolve to stand by the affectees of the flood. ERRA upholds, strongly, the values it seeks to promote amongst the earthquake affectees; leaving no opportunity to demonstrate the practices it wishes to make common amongst the populations of the earthquake affected areas. Under its overarching programme to safeguard the environment of the earthquake affected areas, ERRA has encouraged and overseen the plantation of hundreds of thousands of trees. This tree plantation ceremony was in fact a display of solidarity with the affectees of natural disasters; earthquakes, landslides and floods, alike.
