On June 30, 2010 a simple but impressive ceremony was held to bid farewell to Director Urban Housing, Mr. Ijaz Ahmed Bajwa. Senior ERRA officials including Director Generals, Advisors, Directors and Deputy Directors attended the farewell gathering. Brig Masuood Ahmed, COS, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

While acknowledging the contribution of outgoing Director Urban Housing, COS said that Mr. Ijaz Ahmed Bajwa is one of the most competent officers, who will always be remembered for his exceptional time management and punctuality. He further added that Mr. Bajwa is known for his ability to accomplish even the most challenging tasks with amazing speed and accuracy. COS especially appreciated Mr. Bajwa’s exceptional skills in drafting official correspondence.

Mr. Ijaz Ahmed Bajwa, an officer ex Federal Revenue Department, joined ERRA in July 2006. Due to his posting in the Housing Sector right from the beginning, he played important role in the framing and implementation of a successful Urban Housing Strategy.

In recognition of his services and valuable contribution, he was presented with the ERRA souvenir. At the end, Mr. Ijaz Ahmed Bajwa thanked everyone for the warm farewell. He said that he will always cherish the time he spent at ERRA, and will remain grateful to his colleagues and seniors for the cooperation and support extended to him during his stay at ERRA.
